mani•Q color Instructions:
To start, vigorously roll Mani•Q Color bottle between palms and shake before using.
Prepare the natural nail, by removing shine with the Young Nails Sponge Buffer and clean the surface with Swipe.
On Natural Nails: Apply Protein Bond only the free edge (On Enhancements: Make sure the surface is lightly filed. No buffing or base gel is necessary, Apply protein bond to the entire surface before color application.)
Apply Mani•Q Base coat on all five fingers starting with the smallest finger (pinkie). Cure for 30 seconds in LED or 1 minute in a UV light (Tip: You can apply base gel to opposite hand while first hand is curing. As soon as the first hand is cured, switch hands.)
Apply the first coat of Mani•Q Color starting with smallest finger. Cure for 1 minute in YN light (Tip: You can apply the first coat of color to opposite hand while first hand is curing. As soon as the first hand is cured, switch hands.)
Apply the second coat of Mani•Q Color starting with smallest finger. Cure for 1 minute in YN light (Tip: You can apply the second coat of color to opposite hand while first hand is curing. As soon as the first hand is cured, switch hands.)
Depending on color selected, a touch up coat might be necessary for edges and lighter colors.
Apply a thin layer of Mani•Q Top and cure for a minimum of 1 minute.
Wipe the dispersion layer of the Mani•Q Top with Mani•Q Cleanser.
Removal:
Soak off method:
Remove the shiny top coat with a medium file or sanding band
Use a couple of balls of cotton per hand. Separate each ball of cotton into five small pieces. Soak cotton with acetone and apply on top of the nail.
Tightly wrap the fingertips with aluminum foil. Apply the shiny side of the foil towards the cotton.
Soak for a minimum of 15 minutes. Slowly and gently scrape off the Mani•q Color with a plastic pusher or orange wood stick
Lightly buff and prep the nail for another Mani•q Color service
Gentle filing method:
Make sure to keep the electric file in a slow speed.
A great way to remove is just to tickle it off. The bit will do all the work for you. Take your time, and feather it off gently.
Once the gel has been removed, lightly buff the surface with a sponge buffer. remove dust with Swipe. Apply Protein Bond at the tip of the natural nail to begin another Mani•q Color service.
